Job Description

Amazon Business is seeking a Frontend Engineer to innovate and develop AI-enhanced user experiences in a rapidly expanding global business. The role involves collaborating with talented engineers and working in an agile environment to tackle interesting challenges in B2B solutions.

Requirements

2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis)
Experience with object-oriented design
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
1+ years of agile software development methodology experience (preferred)
Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node (preferred)

Responsibilities

Work closely with senior engineers, UX designers, and product managers to develop AI-enhanced user experiences and conversational interfaces
Collaborate with other engineers to develop optimal architectural designs for LLM-powered frontend systems
Lead investigations into new design approaches, prototype emerging AI technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility
Mentor engineers within an existing 'two pizza' scrum team on AI-integrated frontend development
Engage with customers and Amazon business partners to continuously improve product usability through intelligent UI solutions
Partner with other teams for cross-cutting features, especially in GenAI integration and RAG implementation
