Job Description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Technical Business Analyst at the Director level to provide business analysis support for the sTrading Platform, enhancing efficiency and productivity through a blend of business acumen and analytical skills.

Requirements

Experience working on large scale projects
Fluency in business processes and process differentiation of Capital Markets
Exposure to Agile methodologies
Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Solid background in Wealth Management / Investment Management (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office Activities)
Understanding of Financial Data
Ability to document, track, and work on Functional, Technical and Data requirements with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Python and Java is a plus

Responsibilities

Stay current with customer needs and strategies, communicating updates and findings through various methods
Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes through business and systems process analysis
Identify improvement opportunities, both proactive and reactive
Elicit and document business and systems requirements clearly
Assess business process and system inefficiencies
Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, schedules, and project summaries
Support system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements
Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems
Conduct walkthroughs with Business Units and Technical teams for common understanding of requirements
Act as a liaison between Business Users and Technical teams
