Job Description

Elanco is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to provide technical and strategic leadership at the Fort Dodge, Iowa site. This role involves leading the engineering team, developing long-term strategies, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational improvements in a global animal health company.

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering or Higher
Several years of Engineering Team Leadership experience in maintenance, reliability, process engineering support, or capital planning and delivery
Several years of experience in FDA, EMA (EU GMP), USDA regulated, Animal Health, Pharmaceutical or Biotech manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and performance management for the Site Engineering team, including maintenance, process engineers, and capital project managers
Develop the long-term strategy for the engineering function and create a strategic investment plan for the Site facilities
Ensure all Site assets are qualified, maintained, and recapitalized to comply with Elanco standards and capabilities
Support manufacturing operations to achieve production goals, driving continuous improvement of assets
Accountable for the effective and efficient planning and execution of all capital investments
