Job Description

The Apple Intelligence Model Optimization and Algorithms Development team seeks Machine Learning Applied Scientists and Research Engineers to innovate server-based and on-device large machine learning capabilities. Candidates should have strong software engineering backgrounds and experience in machine learning model optimization.

Requirements

PhD in related field
Proven ability to define goals and deliver results in AI product development
Experience in developing/optimizing/training large language, computer vision, or generative AI models
Python coding and general purpose system admin skills
History of applied research in neural network model optimization or training
BS degree with 5+ years of experience, MSc with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of experience

Responsibilities

Build server-based and on-device large machine learning capabilities
Collaborate with software developers and deep learning experts
Optimize neural network algorithms and conduct experiments
Drive scientific investigations and experiments in a research environment
