Job Description

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their Design and Engineering Team to execute projects across various sectors, utilizing expertise in structural design and construction engineering.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) License
Functional knowledge and experience with AutoCAD/REVIT software
Strong structural analysis and design skills, including experience with structural software such as Staad Pro, Risa
Excellent working knowledge of all building codes and standards such as IBC, ACI, AISC

Responsibilities

Organize and conduct structural related engineering investigations, calculations, and planning work
Develop calculations, plans, specifications, requests for proposals, and other contract documents
Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Work directly with various engineering disciplines, project staff, clients, and sub-contractors
Perform technical work with increased level of complexity with senior review
Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior structural engineers on small or medium projects
Serve as Engineer of Record on small to medium projects
Travel for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits
