Job Description

Google is seeking a software engineer to develop next-generation technologies that enhance how users connect and interact with information. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions critical to Google's needs, particularly within the Search team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in JavaScript or TypeScript.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
3 years of experience with front-end frameworks, full-stack development, or Application Programming Interface (API) development.
1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred).
5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms (preferred).
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role (preferred).
Experience in building JavaScript application libraries and frameworks (preferred).
Experience developing accessible technologies (preferred).

Responsibilities

Write and test product or system development code.
Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve.
