Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, Operations Research or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in Software Development or Data Engineering roles
Advanced Python programming with expertise in numerical computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy)
Strong SQL proficiency for complex data manipulation and analysis
Experience with optimization frameworks and algorithms (linear programming, constraint satisfaction)
Understanding of manufacturing planning concepts and S&OP processes
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
Experience working with cross-functional teams and building organic support for technical initiatives
Excellent judgment and proactive problem-solving mindset
Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and comfort with rapid pace of change
Responsibilities
Serve as the technical owner for the energy modules and its associated optimization tools
Develop and maintain algorithms that drive prioritization and sequencing logic for global factory planning
Design and implement advanced optimization algorithms that balance production constraints with demand patterns
Collaborate with demand planning and production planning teams to automate their processes
Partner with operations teams to support their planning-based tasks at factory, warehouse and operation center level
Design and optimize data models that support high-performance planning operations
Develop efficient ETL processes to integrate data from our in-house ERP system and other sources
Write complex SQL queries to analyze supply-demand dynamics and identify planning opportunities
Support executive reporting by developing data pipelines that transform complex planning data into actionable insights
