The Chief of Staff for Copilot Engineering and Product is a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving operational excellence, enabling effective decision-making, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture within Microsoft.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
Proven experience in Chief of Staff, program management, or strategic operations roles within technical or product organizations
Proven understanding of engineering and product development processes
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment
Experience with strategic planning, business operations, and executive communications
Passion for technology, innovation, and building inclusive teams
Responsibilities
Partner closely with Copilot Engineering and Product leaders to drive strategic planning, execution, and alignment
Lead and manage business rhythms including leadership meetings, all-hands, and planning cycles
Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely execution of key priorities
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to leadership, enabling clarity and focus
Manage communications and change management across the organization
Support organizational health efforts, including culture, inclusion, and team effectiveness
Coordinate with finance, Human Resources, and other support functions to ensure operational efficiency
Lead special projects and initiatives that span engineering and product teams
