Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Geospatial Analyst to support our team with geospatial data processing, mapping, and analysis. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with foundational GIS skills, strong analytical ability, and an interest in working with geospatial datasets and mapping tools.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or QGIS.
  • Understanding of spatial data formats (Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, raster datasets).
  • Ability to perform standard geoprocessing tasks (buffer, clip, merge, spatial joins, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and maintain geospatial datasets from multiple sources.
  • Create, update, and manage maps, layers, and spatial databases.
  • Conduct basic spatial analysis, modeling, and geoprocessing tasks.
  • Support the development of geospatial products, dashboards, and reports for project teams.
  • Assist in preparing high-quality maps and visual presentations for internal and client use.
  • Perform remote sensing tasks such as feature extraction or imagery classification (training provided if needed).
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of geospatial data.
  • Collaborate with team members through virtual platforms and communicate project progress clearly.
  • Follow established workflows and contribute ideas to improve geospatial processes.
