Job Description

The Cloud Network Engineer position at Microsoft involves managing the corporate hybrid hosting infrastructures and ensuring seamless connectivity and workload migrations to Azure, while solving complex challenges and enhancing service reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
2+ years of technical experience in network engineering including layer 2 analysis and troubleshooting TCP/IP routing & switching
2+ years Scripting skills in both Linux and Windows environments

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze & debug network infrastructure
Participate in on-call/Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) duties
Collaborate within and across teams to share information and resolve conflicts
Mentor and provide feedback to other engineers
Design and manage deployment pipelines
Troubleshoot network routing protocols and overlay technologies
