Amazon Fresh Grocery is seeking a talented and entrepreneurial Data Engineer who is passionate about building and maintaining data ecosystems, working collaboratively to solve complex data problems in the Grocery business using a variety of tools and systems.

Requirements

3+ years of data engineering experience
1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes
1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using OLAP technologies
1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling
1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using SQL
1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using Oracle
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Responsibilities

Design, implement and support a self-serve data platform for engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders
Build and maintain interoperable AWS components for data storage, computation, and compliance/privacy
Develop the end-to-end automation of data pipelines, making datasets readily-consumable by visualization tools and notification systems
Create automated alarming and dashboards to monitor data integrity
Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, scripting, and AWS technologies
Influence the organization to adopt next-generation data technology and frameworks
Partner with fellow engineers and scientists to build proof of concept applications
Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation and metadata for your solutions
