Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Principal Protection and Control Engineer to join the Power Delivery & Renewable team, focusing on technical and project management assignments, project engineering, proposal management, and business development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in system protection schemes and relay and control engineering design
Experience within Power Delivery Protection & Relay Control consultancy businesses
PE License
Proficiency in critical Engineering Software (e.g., SKM, ASPEN, ETAP, CAPE, AcSELerator, WinIGS)
Design experience adhering to relevant codes and standards

Responsibilities

Manage and grow the Protection and Control team
Support, develop, and deliver utility and developer projects
Coordinate with various engineering teams to develop complete design packages
Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, Program Manager, Account Manager, and Technical Lead
Mentor junior team members and conduct quality assurance/quality control
Develop plans for client development, account growth, and project financial performance
