Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Principal Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery & Renewable team, focusing on sustainable design and engineering solutions for substation electrical projects. The role involves technical and project management assignments, client engagement, and resource planning.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in substation engineering and design
Experience within Power Delivery Substation Electrical consultancy businesses
PE License
Proficiency in engineering software such as SKM, ASPEN, ETAP, CAPE, CDEGS, WinIGS
Knowledge of National Electrical Code, National Electric Safety Code, IEEE codes and standards

Responsibilities

Manage and grow Substation Electrical team
Support and deliver utility and developer projects from conceptual layout to construction support
Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to develop complete design packages
Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, and Technical Lead
Mentor junior team members and conduct quality assurance/quality control
Work with leadership to develop plans for client development and account growth
