Job Description

Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to create a standardized data platform that provides clean, reliable data for Operations and Finance, facilitating data-driven decision-making and fostering a positive team culture through inclusion and engagement.

Requirements

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business

Responsibilities

Identify complex business problems and implement solutions to improve operations finance facing systems, processes, and tools
Provide technical expertise in extracting, integrating, and analyzing critical data
Clearly communicate discrepancies and reporting downtime, including root cause analysis and resolution steps
Design and develop key performance metrics and indicators
Automate processes by developing tools, metrics, and dashboards to communicate insights in real time
