Job Description
The Input and UX Explorations team at Meta Reality Labs is seeking a research intern to help develop innovative interaction techniques for AI-enhanced wearable computing, particularly focusing on smart glasses and neural band products. The ideal candidate should have a background in HCI, AI, and interactive computing, capable of moving from ideation to prototype validation.
Requirements
- Currently in the process of obtaining a PhD in HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in HCI, UI/UX, AR/VR, graphics, gaming, or other interactive development
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire
- Publications at CHI, UIST, Ubicomp, SIGGRAPH, IEEE VR, ISMAR, IUI, or related venues
Responsibilities
- Ideate and articulate novel interaction techniques for wearable devices
- Plan and execute cutting-edge research of forward-looking interactions enabled by multimodal input sources
- Create prototypes exploring input and interaction techniques in wearable computing environments
- Evaluate the performance of input explorations and measure user response
