Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Project Engineer to enhance productivity within their Distribution Network in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The role requires a lean mindset and proven project management experience in distribution processes, focusing on collaboration, problem-solving, and delivering impactful results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience with proven operations process improvements (distribution experience preferred)
Previous kaizen participation experiences
Strong project management skills
Advanced data analysis skills in MS Excel, Pareto, Control charts, PowerPivot, and/or VBA
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Periodic travel may be required up to 15%

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value through problem-solving and creative thinking
Lead project implementation and analyze current states with multiple what-if scenarios
Implement robust improvements that scale with growth
Coach and train on various process improvement techniques
Lead cross-functional projects of small to medium complexity
Ensure alignment on scope, budget, schedule, and resources
Develop and execute charters, action plans, and project timelines
Establish metrics and report on project progress, risks, and results
Drive accountability for team task completion
Act as the CEO of the project, taking accountability for outcomes
