Job Description

Netflix is seeking a UI Engineer to work cross-functionally in the Content & Business Products Engineering teams, focusing on optimizing and automating content creation processes while building user interfaces that enhance workflows at scale.

Requirements

Passionate about UI Engineering and making architectural decisions.
Proficient in HTML/JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS.
Experience with React, GraphQL, and various libraries/frameworks.
Strong sense of ownership and inclination for collaboration.
Ability to communicate and lead technical improvements.
Interest in web performance and developer experience tools.
Comfortable with technical design of UI applications.

Responsibilities

Build, test, deploy, and launch UIs that operationalize workflows.
Participate in product reviews and provide technical insight.
Evaluate and streamline rapid application development tooling.
Learn and influence new systems and tools as the platform evolves.
Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident reviews.
Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to stakeholders.
Collaborate on engineering tasks with minimal guidance.
Engage in team discussions and provide mentorship.
