Netflix is seeking an experienced candidate to help mature and expand their detection frameworks through machine learning capabilities, focusing on reducing risk by detecting malicious or anomalous behavior.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience implementing anomaly detection methods at scale, ideally using ML.
Passionate about using software engineering skills to reduce risk and improve security.
Experience working in a continuous integration and continuous delivery, cloud-based environment.
Familiarity with AWS environment and experience creating and tuning AWS detections is a plus.
Adept at working with Python in a big data environment and skilled in SQL.
Experience with Java and/or Jupyter Notebooks is a plus.
Familiarity with computer and information security concepts.
Comfortable working on ambitious projects with a small team.
Effective across teams and disciplines in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Partner with stakeholder teams and leverage domain expertise.
Create and improve detections on Netflix platforms to minimize risk.
