Netflix is seeking a software engineer to enhance mobile development through robust CI/CD and test infrastructure, focusing on automation tools and workflows for diverse mobile devices.

Requirements

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining mobile testing infrastructure.
Expertise in building and maintaining tools that improve developer productivity.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. Spinnaker, Jenkins, Github Actions).
Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Bash).
Strong problem-solving skills for designing scalable solutions.
Experience with mobile build systems (e.g. Gradle, xcodebuild, Bazel).

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and improve the mobile build ecosystem, CI/CD, testing and release pipelines.
Develop tools for build and test automation infrastructure focusing on scaling and reliability.
Create techniques to automate manual activities in mobile development.
Collaborate in a cross-functional environment to support partners.
Set direction and build consensus for long-term impact on mobile engineering.
Promote software development best practices in code health, quality and test stability.
