The Analyst I at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for managing production materials, improving planning processes, and ensuring customer requirements are met through effective inventory management and production planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations Management
Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory control
Experience in Schedule Analysis/Material Availability Analysis
Ability to use and optimize an ERP system for planning
Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
Proficient use of MS Office software, especially Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities
Oversee procurement of materials and planning for production facility
Analyze trends and develop reports on production and supplier performance
Work with teams to develop Recovery Plans as necessary
Perform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning on procured materials
Advise management of risks affecting schedules or deliveries
Use systems to plan purchase orders and maintain inventory levels
Monitor slow-moving inventory and drive improvements
Balance customer demand with manufacturing capabilities
Recommend adjustments to planning strategies and inventory levels
Serve as materials expert
Create monthly S&OP reports
Assist with Master Production Schedule preparation
Assist with material availability and production priorities
Scenario planning for business changes
Influence and inspire commitment within the organization
Act as Super User and Subject Matter Expert for ERP system
Continuously update skills related to inventory control best practices
Travel 10% of the time
Other duties and continuous improvement projects as assigned
