Job Description

The Analyst I at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for managing production materials, improving planning processes, and ensuring customer requirements are met through effective inventory management and production planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations Management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory control
  • Experience in Schedule Analysis/Material Availability Analysis
  • Ability to use and optimize an ERP system for planning
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficient use of MS Office software, especially Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement of materials and planning for production facility
  • Analyze trends and develop reports on production and supplier performance
  • Work with teams to develop Recovery Plans as necessary
  • Perform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning on procured materials
  • Advise management of risks affecting schedules or deliveries
  • Use systems to plan purchase orders and maintain inventory levels
  • Monitor slow-moving inventory and drive improvements
  • Balance customer demand with manufacturing capabilities
  • Recommend adjustments to planning strategies and inventory levels
  • Serve as materials expert
  • Create monthly S&OP reports
  • Assist with Master Production Schedule preparation
  • Assist with material availability and production priorities
  • Scenario planning for business changes
  • Influence and inspire commitment within the organization
  • Act as Super User and Subject Matter Expert for ERP system
  • Continuously update skills related to inventory control best practices
  • Travel 10% of the time
  • Other duties and continuous improvement projects as assigned
