Job Description

Morgan Stanley seeks a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer to implement advanced technology solutions for its Global Fraud Operations division in New York. The role involves building technical knowledge of fraud platforms, collaborating with business teams, and providing support for existing systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in related roles
Five (5) years of experience with Java, Scala, Kafka, algorithms, SQL, system design, CI/CD, OOPs, scripting, and Angular/React
Any amount of experience with distributed systems, distributed caching, MSSQL, Podman, Python, Machine learning, AI, functional programming, Graph DB, and Rules engine

Responsibilities

Implement state of the art technology solutions for the Firm’s Global Fraud Operations division
Lead the buildout of technical knowledge of fraud platforms
Impart advanced technical knowledge of FraudHub’s systems and processes to team members
Interact and work closely with business teams to understand their needs and design technology solutions
Contribute to hiring technology specialists
Onboard and train new team members on Morgan Stanley’s systems and processes
Provide technical support for existing FraudHub systems during U.S business hours
