Job Description

Google is seeking a senior software engineer to innovate and iterate on machine learning model design, focusing on improving quality, stability, and efficiency in products that serve billions of users. The role involves leading efforts in machine learning model deployment and experimentation, and contributing to critical systems within Google's Ads business.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years with software design and architecture.
5 years of experience with Speech/audio technology, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Innovate and iterate on machine learning model design, improving quality, stability, and efficiency.
Solve machine learning related problems by designing, running, and analyzing experiments.
Contribute to code health, automation, and alerting systems.
Participate in on-call rotations for model health.
Learn the bidding machine learning models that drive billions in ad business.
