Job Description

This role focuses on driving the data strategy for Bain's Private Equity practice, involving vendor management, specialized research, and collaboration with practice teams to enhance knowledge capture and insights.

Requirements

Advanced degree in Information Science or MBA preferred
8 or more years of research experience
Demonstrated experience in vendor/contracts management
Experience in Consulting, financial services, private equity, or other business setting
Strong analytical and business skills
Strong project management skills
Training and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent
Experience in building strong customer relationships
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage by influence in a matrix organization

Responsibilities

Vendor Management, data strategy and budgeting for Practice Area
Research for case teams, client development, IP and Practice Areas
Coaching practice affiliates in sectors of specialization
Asset Creation includes innovation, product development, topic and vendor guides
Practice communication including liaising with Global Practice Head and Regional practice stakeholders
Lead specialized, complex research efforts and manage projects
Facilitate communication across practice teams and RDS
Develop and present training materials for practice sources
Conduct research for case teams using expert knowledge of industry sources
Propose and champion strategic initiatives for RDS and the Practice
