Job Description

StubHub is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features for the Consumer Experience team. This role involves tackling significant challenges, mentoring team members, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance the live event experience for users globally.

Requirements

5-6+ years of professional experience in software development
Extensive experience developing robust systems using multiple front-end and back-end programming languages and frameworks (Java, C#, Python, React, Javascript)
Previous experience designing and developing features for consumer facing products
A strong understanding of how their systems interact with the broader production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives
Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production, and mentoring junior engineers along the way

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub’s platforms and products, resulting in high-quality outcomes
Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code
Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
Mentor other team members and help many increase their technical capabilities, fostering a culture of inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and limitless creativity
