Job Description

The Azure Dedicated team at Microsoft is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage networking infrastructure for private and hybrid cloud solutions. This role involves collaboration with industry-leading technologies and partners, focusing on optimizing network performance and reliability in large-scale environments.

Requirements

7+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
1+ years experience with Azure Networking (VNet, ExpressRoute, Private Link, UDRs, VPN, NSGs) or equivalent cloud networking services
1+ years hands-on experience with enterprise network devices (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, etc.) and automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform, PowerShell)

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage end-to-end network architectures for Azure Dedicated environments
Integrate and validate 3rd-party platforms (VMware, Nutanix etc.) with Azure networking services
Optimize network performance, reliability, and security across large-scale, mission-critical cloud environments
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Azure teams and external partners
Contribute to live-site operations, automation, and observability initiatives
Enable customer scenarios such as workload migration and disaster recovery through robust networking designs
