Job Description

Apple is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their Health team, where you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to drive innovations in health technology. The role involves applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to derive insights from big data, including Apple Watch sensor data, to inform product development.

Requirements

  • PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years applying data science principles in product analytics, health outcomes and evaluation, causal analytics or behavioral analysis
  • 8+ years of practical experience applying statistical methods and modeling, causal analysis, ML, AI
  • Masters in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years applying data science principles in product analytics, health outcomes and evaluation, causal analytics or behavioral analysis
  • 5+ years of practical experience applying statistical methods and modeling
  • Expertise working in Python, SQL, Spark
  • Expert communicator and collaborator

Responsibilities

  • Apply statistical methods, machine learning, and advanced analytics to derive insights and share findings with relevant teams
  • Work with big data, including Apple Watch sensor data
  • Drive feature evaluation product roadmap decisions via insights
