The Fulfillment org at Uber is focused on creating a unified platform for trip fulfillment across various business verticals. The role involves building and expanding core backend systems to support new features and product launches, while ensuring high reliability and performance in a distributed system environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience developing and shipping code for production systems
2+ years of experience in systems software engineering
Proficient in one of the following programming languages: Java or Golang or other equivalent

Work with a best-in-class distributed system at the heart of Uber
Take ownership of a broad problem and drive alignment on solutions
Demonstrate tech expertise in solving classes of problems
Execute large scale projects, building mission-critical distributed systems
Raise the bar on sustainable engineering by improving standard methodologies
