Job Description

The Apple Services Engineering team is seeking a data engineer to develop large-scale data pipelines and analytical solutions using Big Data technologies. The role requires strong engineering skills, a passion for data, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive data-driven processes.

Requirements

MS in Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years experience.
Experience leading complex engineering projects from inception to production across organizational boundaries.
Exceptional analytical skills combined with a deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Strong technical knowledge in Java, Scala, SQL.
Multi-year experience with Big Data technologies like Spark batch, Spark streaming, Flink and Hadoop ecosystem.
Experience integrating messaging technologies like Kafka.

Responsibilities

Develop large scale data pipelines and analytical solutions using Big Data technologies.
Work across disciplines in a small team environment.
Iterate quickly on all stages of the data pipeline.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, designers, and partners.
