Job Description

The Software Engineer, Media role focuses on enhancing the media ecosystem through collaboration with internal and external engineering teams. Responsibilities include building new features, modifying existing ones, and resolving issues while advocating for technical optimizations in the media space.

Requirements

BS/MS in Computer Science or related experience
Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, specifically with operating systems
Experience with programming fundamentals, including pointers and memory management in C, Objective-C, or C++
Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with engineering teams and management
Interest in media development requirements such as encoding/decoding and codec trade-offs

Responsibilities

Analyze partner products and recommend technical optimizations
Host in-person sessions to unblock technical roadblocks
Support external partners and internal teams in implementing ecosystem improvements
Engage in reverse engineering and debugging tasks
Create content to help audiences understand and resolve gaps in the ecosystem
