Job Description

Join HID's sensing and interaction algorithms team to develop advanced algorithms for Apple products. The role involves writing efficient C/C++ code for signal processing, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and optimizing data processing frameworks.

Requirements

MS / PhD with 2+ years of experience in developing, optimizing, and implementing complex algorithms.
Experience with object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
Background in numerical methods and techniques, especially as relates to stability in real-time DSP algorithms.
Knowledge of fundamental DSP concepts such as Adaptive filtering, linear algebra, machine learning, or statistics.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
BS and a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
Programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
Experience with optimizing and implementing complex algorithms on embedded systems or resource constrained platforms.

Responsibilities

Write efficient and scalable C / C++ code to perform signal processing in multiple compute environments.
Analyze and validate algorithm prototypes with other algorithm engineers.
Architect and code the algorithm implementation, targeting embedded or resource-constrained systems.
Integrate code into the product with system and firmware engineers, focusing on algorithm implementation.
Architect, develop, and optimize data processing and machine learning frameworks.
Design, develop, and support high quality, scalable algorithm implementations and data processing pipelines.
