Job Description

Join HID's sensing and interaction algorithms team to develop advanced algorithms for Apple products. The role involves writing efficient C/C++ code for signal processing, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and optimizing data processing frameworks.

Requirements

  • MS / PhD with 2+ years of experience in developing, optimizing, and implementing complex algorithms.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
  • Background in numerical methods and techniques, especially as relates to stability in real-time DSP algorithms.
  • Knowledge of fundamental DSP concepts such as Adaptive filtering, linear algebra, machine learning, or statistics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • BS and a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with optimizing and implementing complex algorithms on embedded systems or resource constrained platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Write efficient and scalable C / C++ code to perform signal processing in multiple compute environments.
  • Analyze and validate algorithm prototypes with other algorithm engineers.
  • Architect and code the algorithm implementation, targeting embedded or resource-constrained systems.
  • Integrate code into the product with system and firmware engineers, focusing on algorithm implementation.
  • Architect, develop, and optimize data processing and machine learning frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and support high quality, scalable algorithm implementations and data processing pipelines.
