Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer II- Backend to join the OneDrive and SharePoint team, focusing on large-scale distributed systems. The role involves collaborating with engineers to enhance database performance, ensure service reliability, and deliver innovative features for users worldwide.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in large-scale distributed systems that are critical for customers around the world.
Design and deliver services that manage internet-scale data stores.
Contribute to the engineering culture of OneDrive & SharePoint.
Write clean, efficient code and comprehensive tests.
Build excellent coverage with metrics and telemetry.
