Job Description

Apple is looking for an Engineering Program Manager to join the Vision Display Technologies team, focusing on cutting-edge display technologies. The role involves collaborating with engineers across various disciplines and managing complex program execution while ensuring high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • MS in ME/EE/IE degree or equivalent natural sciences degree
  • Knowledge of Vision Sciences
  • Knowledge of display design and process
  • Experience in consumer electronics
  • Experience working with off-shore suppliers and manufacturers
  • A working understanding of high volume manufacturing processes
  • Great leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Define project plans and schedules
  • Drive project execution
  • Lead internal and external cross-functional teams in engineering and validation activities
  • Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication
  • Understand and communicate complex, technical/Engineering issues
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently
  • Manage development budgets and engineering builds
