Job Description

The Health Personalization team is seeking an applied scientist with expertise in health applications of machine learning. This role involves developing and evaluating generative models for health and wellbeing applications, working within a skilled team to ensure high quality and reliability while maintaining user privacy.

Requirements

MS or PhD in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or health informatics
5+ years of relevant proven experience
Technical expertise in generative AI domains, such as large language model architectures and natural language understanding
Hands-on experience developing complex generative AI systems in an applied setting
Familiarity with privacy-preserving ML techniques is a plus
Proficiency using Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
Knowledge of health informatics or experience with complex health data sources

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve generative models for real-world health applications
Collaborate with multiple engineering teams on complex projects
Apply a scientific approach to drive machine learning innovation
Design experimentation strategies and guide data generation/collection
