Job Description

Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) for its Battery Technology Engineering Program Management team. The role involves leading multi-functional teams to develop battery solutions, managing project risks, and ensuring effective communication across various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3 years of industry experience in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Industry experience (preferably Battery or Consumer Electronics) of taking technologies from concept definition to mass production
  • Technical project management experience in material development, mechanical design, simulation, or manufacturing process development
  • Experience in working and managing suppliers across a diverse supply chain
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to comprehend, communicate and manage complex design tradeoffs
  • Experience with AI tools, modeling, and simulation work
  • Ability to travel internationally

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, manage, track and report progress to plan and drive solutions to address any/all identified gaps
  • Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks, drive engineering discussions and decisions on critical system parameters
  • Drive day-to-day activities, including build management, to meet overall project objectives
  • Identify and engage cross-functional stakeholders for project definition decisions
  • Communicate status and big picture to the project team and executive management
