Job Description

The iPhone Division is looking for a System Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing future iPhone products. The role involves designing, implementing, and integrating various analog function blocks and subsystems, while collaborating with multiple teams throughout different development stages.

Requirements

  • Experience in a consumer electronics environment dealing with high-volume and high-quality products
  • Familiarity with low-power electronics
  • Familiarity with semi-conductor design
  • Experience in prototyping, characterization and debugging of mixed-signal hardware
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both verbal and written communications
  • Experience with digital interfaces such as I2C, SPI, etc
  • Experience with programming languages such as Matlab and Python
  • BS/MS EE or equivalent
  • 10+ years overall experience in industry
  • Strong analog/mixed-signal fundamental
  • Deep understanding of mixed-signal building blocks

Responsibilities

  • Work with multi-functional team on systems level designs including system integration, schematic and layout reviews, manufacturing and production test support, systems validation and troubleshooting
  • Perform hardware prototyping and demonstrations
  • Work with IC vendors through the custom silicon design cycle including design review, bring up, bench characterization and bug tracking
