Job Description

The Apple Cloud UI team is seeking a frontend-focused Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a cloud portal experience. The role involves collaborating with designers and product managers to create high-quality user interfaces and contribute to a product used across Apple.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
Experience building complex web applications with a focus on user experience.
Experience implementing APIs in user interfaces.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with Node and full-stack development.
Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain features for our cloud portal using React and TypeScript.
Collaborate with HI designers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and develop timelines and roadmaps.
Act as a DRI for projects, taking ownership from conception to deployment.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
Contribute to the development of internal frontend tooling.
Explore and prototype new technologies, including GenAI, to improve our workflows and products.
