Job Description

Rivian is seeking an audio software and hardware engineer to design and implement automated testing for their audio systems. The role involves building DSP frameworks, optimizing algorithms, and evaluating new DSP platforms, all while contributing to the company's mission of creating emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science, EEE or related program
4+ years of MATLAB and/or Python programming
C or C++
Experience with audio DSPs - Sharc, HiFi, Hexagon
Experience with audioweaver or similar DSP frameworks
Experience with version control systems (git, etc)
Experience with build systems and artifact repositories (Scons, Bazel, JFrog Artifactory)
Experience with software and infrastructure automation
Enthusiastic self-starter
Good communication and documentation

Responsibilities

Build test DSP framework for audio experiences
Build DSP algorithms like noise suppression
Evaluate new DSP platforms for given work loads
Optimize algorithm implementation
Implement algorithms on target DSP
