Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Integration & Validation Engineer to oversee the integration, manufacturing readiness, and quality assurance of advanced sensor and compute platforms. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that hardware systems meet stringent quality and performance standards for deployment across diverse vehicle platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware integration, manufacturing engineering, systems validation, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical integration fundamentals.
  • Proven experience developing or executing integration SOPs, build-quality checks, validation frameworks, or QA procedures.
  • Proficiency with mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools.
  • Experience interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
  • Solid foundation in Linux and scripting for validation, automation, or data/logging workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with hardware design, manufacturing, test, and operations teams.
  • Excellent documentation and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own system-level integration readiness for the sensor and compute stack.
  • Define and refine integration and manufacturing requirements with various teams.
  • Define QA and traceability systems for consistent, high-quality installs.
  • Develop acceptance criteria, build-quality checks, validation procedures, and quality gates.
  • Plan, build, and maintain integration and QA test infrastructure.
  • Partner with vendors and manufacturing teams to support first-article builds.
  • Establish traceability requirements for parts, builds, and installation workflows.
  • Author detailed Standard Operating Procedures for integration and QA workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with vehicle teams for seamless installation.
  • Analyze hardware failures and drive reliability improvements.
  • Perform structured root-cause analysis on integration or manufacturing issues.
  • Support development of tools and inspection methods to improve build consistency.
  • Mentor technicians and cross-functional partners on integration best practices.
