Job Description

Netflix is seeking a security software engineer to join the Client Security Integrations (CSI) team, which focuses on integrating security features into client applications. The role involves developing client APIs, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing guidance to reduce security risks while ensuring business enablement.

Requirements

Experience developing C++ applications on Linux and ability to work with other programming languages.
Ability to balance security and business enablement.
Proven history taking end-to-end ownership of deliverables: including requirements, design, implementation, test, and management of in-field impact.
Working knowledge of DRM or similar systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Integration of software security features, such as DRM solutions and cryptographic capabilities.
Development of client APIs to guarantee scalability across various platforms and facilitate effective adoption by both internal and external stakeholders of Netflix.
Partner with engineers who manage policy and insights to ensure client security controls are robust.
Provide actionable guidance to product stakeholders to reduce security risk and protect Netflix’s business model.
