Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Analytical Chemistry to solve design, manufacturing, and quality challenges. You will work on cross-functional projects, utilizing various analytical methods and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize material performance and resolve manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge of Materials Science, Materials Engineering or Analytical Chemistry principles to identify and advance solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally on projects requiring materials and fluids guidance.
  • Optimize performance of components or fluids based on structure, composition, and processing.
  • Apply principles of surface engineering to manipulate wear, strength, and corrosion resistance.
  • Evaluate component requirements to identify base material and processing options.
  • Select manufacturing routes and processes aligned to requirements.
  • Use various analytical methods for wear and corrosion evaluation.
  • Investigate product or manufacturing problems and recommend actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate analysis results.
