Job Description

The role involves assisting senior Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) in planning and executing daily tasks related to technical equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preparing reports, and communicating with customers while developing technical skills through hands-on training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems
  • Knowledge of computer theory, various operating systems, and applicable operating system software knowledge
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, E-mail)
  • Knowledge of basic automation functionality on assigned equipment set
  • Must successfully complete ongoing technical training

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior CSEs in planning and preparation of work for the day
  • Review all applicable documents for the scheduled work
  • Assist in the evaluation, analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of technical equipment problems
  • Assist in preparing Field Service Reports on customer support activity
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes for customers based on labor, travel expenses incurred and parts needed
  • Execute process in Service Mobility such as FSR filing, case opening, parts order/returns, and the escalation process
  • Report necessary information on analysis for Failure Analysis (FA) and Dead on Arrival (DOA) report
  • Perform PM under supervision and direction of senior CSEs or managers
  • Communicate with customers and team on all support activity with daily passdowns
  • Develop knowledge and skills for assigned tools through official hands-on training classes
