Job Description

The Amazon AGI Security team is seeking a Security Engineer to ensure that Generative AI models and applications are developed with high security standards. The role involves addressing security challenges, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring aspiring security advocates.

Requirements

4+ years of non-internship background in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks using command line tools experience
5+ years of work in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans experience
4+ years of (non-internship) scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages experience
Experience (non-internship) in industry-based security vulnerabilities identification, attack patterns, and remediation techniques
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

Perform threat modeling and ensure adequate security controls are in place for AGI models, applications, and infrastructure
Influence builders to be better security owners, actively engaging with them to innovate faster and develop scalable mechanisms for upholding the high security bar
Create and maintain security documentation, including designs patterns, implementation guides, and secure software development kits (SDKs)
Simulate Generative AI adversarial attacks against AGI infrastructure
Contribute to security automation tooling for building new Generative AI detection and tooling capabilities
Identify actionable and scalable mitigations for identified vulnerabilities, and collaborate with AGI product and engineering teams to influence and prioritize their resolution
Mentor builders who aspire to become security advocates & security engineers via 1-1 sessions & office hours
