StubHub is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams focused on Cloud & Infrastructure Security and Security Operations. This role involves designing secure infrastructure, enhancing cloud and network environments, and developing detection and response capabilities, all while driving business outcomes through strong leadership and technical expertise.

Requirements

3+ years of experience managing security engineering or security operations teams
7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud and infrastructure security and software engineering
Deep expertise in securing complex cloud environments, including threat modeling and incident response
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Active member of the security community
Exceptional communication skills
Low-ego, high-empathy leadership style
Passionate about developing engineers and fostering team culture

Responsibilities

Lead and grow two high-performing security engineering teams
Ensure the design and delivery of secure-by-default infrastructure
Implement continuous attack surface monitoring and automated remediation pipelines
Own security domain roadmaps leveraging technical expertise and industry frameworks
Govern the building and operation of critical security services
Drive deployment of advanced detection & response capabilities
Establish and track security and reliability metrics
Partner cross-functionally to embed security into architecture and operational practices
Lead incident readiness and response programs
Mentor, coach, and develop engineers
