Job Description

Blackstone's Corporate Development team is seeking an Analyst to support key growth initiatives, execute M&A transactions, and evaluate strategic corporate financial decisions. The role involves collaborating with senior management to perform financial analyses and assess both organic and inorganic growth projects.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or related fields
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly motivated and works effectively in a team environment
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong work ethic and effectively manage multiple projects
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Strong academic record

Responsibilities

Assess new business opportunities and conduct build-versus-buy analysis
Analyze potential strategic M&A opportunities
Support strategic growth projects for senior-level management
Lead market research and competitor analysis
Drive strategic corporate financial analysis, building and maintaining detailed financial models
Draft presentations and investment memorandums for senior-level management
Assist in transaction execution including due diligence and integration
Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate new products, strategies, and opportunities
