Job Description
The 2026 Blackstone Credit and Insurance Summer Analyst Program offers a 10-week in-person experience for undergraduate students, focusing on quantitative strategies within the BXCI Quant & Portfolio Analytics team. Summer analysts will engage in building analytics for various credit markets, contributing to real-world commercial impact while receiving mentorship and training.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
- Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
- Strong modeling and mathematical skills
- Strong programming skills in any general-purpose programming language (i.e., C++, C#, Java, Python)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a lean team environment
- Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good professional judgment, and positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Work as quantitative strategists on the BXCI Quant & Portfolio Analytics team
- Build analytics for calculating risk and values for financial positions
- Originate public and private loans
- Manage funds and highlight portfolio trends and emergent risks
- Evaluate and price deals and support client analytical requests
- Streamline activities across the division
