Job Description

The 2026 Blackstone Credit and Insurance Summer Analyst Program offers a 10-week in-person experience for undergraduate students, focusing on quantitative strategies within the BXCI Quant & Portfolio Analytics team. Summer analysts will engage in building analytics for various credit markets, contributing to real-world commercial impact while receiving mentorship and training.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
  • Strong modeling and mathematical skills
  • Strong programming skills in any general-purpose programming language (i.e., C++, C#, Java, Python)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a lean team environment
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good professional judgment, and positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Work as quantitative strategists on the BXCI Quant & Portfolio Analytics team
  • Build analytics for calculating risk and values for financial positions
  • Originate public and private loans
  • Manage funds and highlight portfolio trends and emergent risks
  • Evaluate and price deals and support client analytical requests
  • Streamline activities across the division
