Job Description

The Fund Activity Analyst role at Morgan Stanley involves supporting the Alternative Investments Business within Wealth Management. The analyst will process and analyze fund activity information from various third-party asset managers, ensuring accurate processing in client accounts.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
0-2 years of relevant finance industry experience
Prior operational and/or alternative investments experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Ability to ensure process consistency and adherence to procedural guidelines
Ability to take direction and work independently, as well as in a team environment
Firm understanding of the importance of accuracy in quality of work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Analyze and process fund activity information delivered from third-party asset managers
Ensure accurate processing of fund activity in client accounts
Interpret information provided by funds in various formats
Collaborate with team members to maintain process consistency
