Job Description

Morgan Stanley is looking for a Business Analyst or Associate in the Investment Banking Division to manage and drive the adoption of technology tools. The ideal candidate should have a background in financial services, strong project management skills, and a passion for AI and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics, Computer Science/Engineering, or similar field.
  • 1+ years of work experience in financial services, consulting, technology, or investment banking experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of investment banking workflows such as capital markets and M&A highly desirable.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, software development, software product/project management a plus.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, with a high level of initiative.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, managing and resolving complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Leads with product life cycle management.
  • Gain a deep understanding of business stakeholder requirements and collaborate with Product Leads and IT teams.
  • Facilitate meetings by developing and distributing agendas, following up with meeting notes.
  • Create, validate, deploy, and market advanced AI prompts/agents to bankers.
  • Work closely with various teams to gather feedback and ensure timely communication.
  • Stay up to date with latest technological advancements to improve existing systems.
  • Monitor quality and proactively request feedback for continuous improvement.
