Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will be part of Amazon Leo's Government team, focusing on the design and analysis of satellite and ground systems. The role involves delivering innovative solutions for high-speed, low-latency satellite broadband services, requiring strong technical skills in electronic circuit design and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
Experience in electronic circuit design and analysis

Responsibilities

Interact directly with customers to understand technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions
Responsible for electrical circuit design for hosting sensitive RF and communications payloads
Analyze designed circuits using software tools for performance and characterization
Identify top level customer requirements and ensure high quality designs
Perform electrical design and layout trade studies for electrical and power sub-systems
Facilitate cost trades on multiple configurations for cost/manufacturability vs design uncertainty
Deliver well-written documentation, reports, and presentations for technical design reviews
Design and support test campaigns for space hardware
