Job Description

Apple is seeking Display Panel TFT Process and Integration Engineers to develop new processes and architectures for advanced display panels. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to enhance panel performance and optimize manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience with flat panel displays
  • Background with TFT device physics
  • Experience in equipment technology and process integration for new products, i.e. Photo Lithography, Thin Film, Etch or Integration function for a-Si TFT, Metal Oxide TFT, LTPS TFT, or MOSFET
  • Experience in management of related fields, i.e. TFT process, TFT equipment, Silicon process, Fab operation and R&D activities

Responsibilities

  • Develop new panel products through technical direction of cross-functional engineering teams and supplier partners
  • Look for new materials and develop processes for advanced display panels from concept to productivity verification
  • Modify the TFT stack up and devices to maintain performance in Thin film, Photo Lithography or Etch field
  • Work closely with the Apple HQ Team in California and Apple industrial partners in Asia to develop new flat panel devices
  • Achieve the best performance using an optimized manufacturing process for future products
  • Optimize and improve existing TFT backplane processes for new Apple products
