Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Project Bridge Design Engineer to join their National Bridge Group in Tampa, FL. The role involves assisting in the technical design and plan production for various bridge projects, providing an opportunity to enhance design skills in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
7+ years’ relevant experience in bridge engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
Excellent technical skills in the design of bridges and transportation-related structures
Familiarity with LEAP Bridge (CONSPAN and RCPier), MathCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office
Experience with FDOT policies and procedures highly desired
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to manage multiple unique assignments simultaneously
Solid communication skills, written and verbal
A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Design of new bridges and bridge widenings
Design of retaining walls and other transportation-related structures
Collaborate with other design disciplines for project delivery
Provide directions to junior level staff inside of the project team, as needed
